Letter from Hartwell Health Care Center Administrator, Marsha Beck:
Welcome to Hartwell Health Care Center's website. We're glad you chose our site. It is an honor to have you with us. Let me take this time to introduce who we are. Hartwell Health Care Center is a 92 bed long term care facility located in Hartwell, Georgia. We've been a part of the local community for many years and we pride ourselves in service to the area. We provide our residents with the best services available in the area from local physicians, nurses, certified nursing assistants, dentists, dieticians, pharmacists, activities, and more. Our mission is to continuously work toward meeting the needs of our residents. Activities are developed by our Activities Director. These may include (but are not limited to) musical events, trips, games, crafts, and exercise class. In situations where a resident needs assistance for social and emotional needs a full-time social worker is readily available. All of our residents are treated with care, dignity, and respect. All of our residents get the best treatment --- medically, spiritually, and emotionally --- available to meet their needs. Our website is designed to help you and your family become familiar with Hartwell Health Care Center and the services available to you. As one of the nursing homes within the Ty Cobb Healthcare System, we are a proud part of a 53-year old organization founded in Royston, Georgia by baseball's immortal Ty Cobb. Our corporate offices are located in Royston, Georgia and our various sister facilities are; Cobb Memorial Hospital, Hart County Hospital, Brown Memorial Convalescent Center, Cobb Health Care Center, and The Gables at Cobb Village. Our system is private, self-supporting, non-profit healthcare organization designed to provide caring, compassion, and excellent healthcare throughout Northeast Georgia.
